As you may have guessed, this is my favorite spider.
I took this picture in Sao Paulo, Brazil, inside my bedroom.
If you have any doubts about rather a spider you came across is a Phoneutria, the doubts go away once you try to get close to it. They are extremely aggressive.
I decided to make my pictures available to my friends, if only to give them nightmares.
So here they are.
But who knows, you might dream of tasty strawberry beetles that won’t really kill you if you eat them.
