I took this picture a few weeks ago in my garden, and I was reminded of it by a picture shown to me today by a 8 year old boy from Canada who wanted to know what kind of spider that was. It was the same species as the one in my picture.

This katydid would like to give thanks for being green. It’s an excellent color indeed.
By the way, this is a round headed katydid, which is as friendly looking as a katydid can possibly be. Just look at it, it wants to be your friend.

I took this picture in Sao Paulo, Brazil, inside my bedroom.
If you have any doubts about rather a spider you came across is a Phoneutria, the doubts go away once you try to get close to it. They are extremely aggressive.
